About Mazzer
Mazzer holds an MFA in fiction writing from George Mason University. She lives in the DC area. Her work is largely setting-driven. Her thesis, Space to Settle, is a collection of inter-connected short stories that explore Reston, Virginia, a planned community. Her first novel, Water Closing In, is set in the coastal Maryland area and explores the dual viewpoints of a mother and son grappling with hard truths. She is currently working on a novel about a DC couple looking to solve their relationship and career problems by relocating to the Shenandoah Valley.
